Overview
Here is the best advice I’ve received from my therapist that I’d like to share with you all:
If you don't want to do something, it's okay to just say “no”;
Give yourself permission to forgive yourself for all the ways you've hurt yourself in the past;
Always remember the Reverse Golden Rule: treat yourself how you'd treat others;
The worst-case scenarios rarely happen;
You can't run away from life's problems, but you can choose what problems you want to have;
Some friendships and relationships are just not meant to be, even if the initial spark is there;
You cannot choose what thoughts your mind comes up with, but you can choose how to respond to those thoughts.
