There's a folder on my phone labeled “experiments.”
It’s my personal mix of bucket list dreams and 30-day challenges.
Think water fasting for 72 hours, running a half marathon, sitting in total darkness for two days, quitting social media for a month, or climbing the 1,860 stairs of the Empire State Building to the 102nd floor.
Why?
Because there was a time in my life when fear kept me from trying anything new, and I’m not about to let that happen again.
It’s said that at the end of our lives, we’ll regret the things we didn’t do more than the things we did.
Unless you’ve done something awful, like, you know, murder—then yeah, big regrets there.
For most of us, though, it’s the shots we didn’t take that linger.
